A Mid-November Treat

I was very surprised to notice these in our front yard today!  Apparently, this phlox plant we planted this summer is happy about the sunny, warm weather too!!

I have this obsessive urge to want to get closer-up photos of flowers than my camera will allow me to get, so I tried my macro lenses again...  this is taken with my 4x macro lens.  Unfortunately I can't use my filters (which help with the lighting) along with the macro lenses, so these photos are darker.

This one was taken with my macro x10 lens.  I like it even though it isn't crisp and clear.
